At HAYA, we believe leadership is essential: not just for our community, but for personal growth and lifelong success. Yet no one leads alone. As Swami Vivekananda said, “Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead! If you lose, you can guide!” True leadership means uplifting others and walking a path rooted in purpose.
As a youth-led organization, we rotate leadership roles to give more members the chance to grow: especially those who may not have led before. Through mentorship and real responsibility, we’re building future leaders from within.

Saheth earned his B.S.E. in Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, graduating with high honors and leading the award‑winning UM::Autonomy team. He began his career at SLB and now works at Shell, drawing on field experience across arctic, desert, and offshore environments. In his freetime, Saheth enjoys fencing, flying planes, and cooking.
As HAYA’s President and Founder, Saheth established the organization from the ground up - navigating nonprofit legal incorporation, community outreach, brand identity, partnerships and full event operations to bring the vision to life.
What Saheth loves most about HAYA is the community - seeing members connect, watching leaders grow, and growing alongside them. HAYA has reminded him that strong teams are built through trust, collaboration, and time.
